After graduating from the Liceo Aristico, Trezzi attended the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. Giovanni Repossi (painting), a close associate of Domenico Purificato (engraving), Pietro Diana and Luigi Veronesi (chromatology) had a significant influence on Trezzi.
