Art works from the BURN-IN online depot are carefully prepared for shipping after receipt of payment. Depending on the format, material, framing and sensitivity of the work, the packaging is customized and safe for transport.
Shipment is made to the delivery address specified when ordering. The specific shipping costs are shown during the ordering process and depend on the work, format, packaging, destination country and shipping method.
International deliveries may incur additional costs, duties, customs duties or import taxes depending on the country of destination.

Consumers within the European Union are generally entitled to a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. The period generally begins on the day on which the goods are accepted. The more detailed conditions can be found in the applicable withdrawal policy and the General Terms and Conditions.
In the event of withdrawal, the purchase price and the costs of the cheapest standard delivery offered will be refunded. The direct costs of the return shipment shall be borne by the customer, provided that they were informed accordingly before conclusion of the contract.
BURN-IN does not grant a voluntary right of return for orders outside the European Union; mandatory statutory rights in the respective country of destination remain unaffected.
The artwork must be returned carefully, completely and, if possible, in the original packaging. Damage caused by improper handling or inadequate return packaging may affect the reversal.
Different regulations may apply to individually produced, personalized or expressly customer-specific commissioned works.

Every work of art purchased via BURN-IN is accompanied by a BURN-IN certificate of authenticity. Depending on the work, it documents key details such as artist, title, year, technique, format, material, work status and provenance information.
A QR code can be used to check whether the certificate is a valid BURN-IN certificate. In this way, BURN-IN combines curatorial care with digital transparency.
