The independent business committee "Initiatives Business for Art" awarded the art sponsorship prize Maecenas 2010 for the 22nd time together with ORF and the support of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.
Dr. Barbara Rett moderated the gala evening, which took place as part of an artistic-culinary "tour de maison" at the Hotel Imperial on Vienna's Kärnter Ring.
BURN-IN participated in the art sponsorship award with the project MGI - upwards | think innovatively, act responsibly. A total of 174 companies applied this year with 208 projects in four categories. There were really unique projects presented, which really made an impression through their visionary ideas and through your sustainability.
We were particularly impressed by the projects of Testfuchs GesmbH (Airfield - Transboundary) and Knapp AG (blood & tears).
The winners:
- Small and medium-sized enterprises: Lenikus GesmbH | Studioprogram Lenikus
- Concept / large enterprises: Knapp AG | blood & tears
- Long-term sponsorship commitment: voestalpine AG | Prix Ars Electronica
- Ö1 Audience Award: Lakeside Science & Technology Park GesmbH | kunstraum lakeside
